What We Collect,
and What We Don’t.
This notice is written to India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It is deliberately short, because this website does very little with your data.
In One
Paragraph.
This is a portfolio website. It has no accounts, no login, no shopping basket and no contact form. We do count how many people read which pages, with a counter that runs on our own server and records nothing about you — no address, no device details, no cookie, nothing that could be traced back to a person. Anything beyond that plain count is asked for first, and happens only if you say yes.

Questions, requests and complaints about personal data go to admin@nashinearchitects.com, marked for the attention of the Principal Architect, who acts as our grievance officer. We answer within thirty days.
What Is
Collected.
One line per page opened, written to a file on our own server. It holds the minute, the page address, the name of the site you came from if you followed a link, whether this was the first page of your visit, and whether your screen is phone, tablet or desktop size. That is the whole line.
It does not hold your IP address, your device or browser details, or any identifier — none is collected, so none can be stored, joined up later, or handed to anyone. It sets no cookie. Nothing leaves our own domain: no Google, no third party of any kind. Because there is nothing personal in it, there is nothing here to ask your permission for, and it cannot be traced back to you even by us.
Telling a visit apart from a second page in the same visit uses one flag held by your browser for as long as that tab is open. It is not a cookie, it is not an identifier, and it is gone when you close the tab.
Separately, our host Hostinger keeps ordinary server logs — the same records every web server on earth keeps — which do include your IP address and are retained briefly for security and troubleshooting.
Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, approximate location (city level, from a truncated IP address), device type, browser language, and how you arrived — a search, a link, or directly. It sets a cookie so a second page view in the same visit is not counted as a second person.
We have switched off Google Signals and advertising personalisation, so your visit is not folded into an advertising profile. We do not run ads, we do not sell data, and we do not share it with anyone except Google as our processor.
The contact page opens your own email application; nothing passes through this website. What you send us — your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about a project — we keep in order to answer you and, if it becomes a project, for as long as the professional and tax records require.
Why, and
On What Basis.
The plain count processes no personal data, so the Act has nothing to bite on: there is no consent to give and none to withdraw. We record it for one purpose — to understand which work people want to see, so we show more of it.
Anything that does touch personal data happens only on your consent, freely given, and for that same single purpose. That is the whole of it, and we will not quietly widen it. Saying no takes one click, exactly as saying yes does.
Withdrawing is as easy as giving, and takes the same single click: open the cookie settings and choose “No”. The analytics cookies are cleared there and then, and nothing further is collected.
Third
Parties.
Google — Analytics and Search Console, only after consent. Google acts as our processor and holds the data on its own infrastructure.
Hostinger — our hosting provider, which serves the pages and keeps server logs.
Google Fonts — the typeface is fetched from Google’s font service, which sees the requesting IP address. It sets no cookie and is used for nothing else. We intend to move the font onto our own server to remove even this.
Instagram — our Instagram page is linked, not embedded. The photographs on the Instagram page are served from this website, so Meta learns nothing about you unless you choose to tap through.
Your
Rights.
Under the Act you may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we have done with it; ask us to correct or complete it; ask us to erase it; nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated; and complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we handle a grievance badly.
Write to the address given above, marked Privacy request, and we will act within thirty days.
We do not knowingly collect anything from children, and we do not profile or advertise to them.
Changes.
If this notice changes materially we will date the new version here and ask for consent again where the law requires it.
