A Raigarh hotel from 2004, and the drawings its expansion was drawn from twenty-four years later.
The expansion for the same client, drawn for 2028, was taken from the original 2004 set rather than from a fresh survey of the standing building. That is only possible because the drawings stayed in one office, which is the practical argument for keeping every discipline under one roof.
Raigarh earns from steel and power. Its hotels fill with people who came for a plant visit, a tender or a wedding, often in the same week, so the plan carries more banquet and conference area per room than a leisure town would ask for.
