The most contemporary of the Babylon properties in Raipur.
Where the group’s earlier hotels carry the ancient-Babylon theme in relief and dome, Capital states it in proportion and material instead — a quieter building for a business address.
The group has kept commissioning us in the same city since 1999.
A business hotel earns from a different guest than a wedding property does, and the plan follows. Check-in is shorter, there is more meeting area per room, and the lobby is sized for people who are leaving rather than lingering.
Stating a house theme in proportion and material instead of in relief is harder to draw and cheaper to build well, because the effect depends on the setting-out rather than on ornament that has to be made and then maintained.
